NWN bots terms of use

These terms apply to the Discord bots nwn and NWN Security, which only run in the NWN server. By using the server and its commands you accept them, together with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and the server’s own rules.

1. Who we are

The bots are run by Pol Navarro Oliver, tax ID 41633052Q, Carrer Pas d’en Marges, 22, 08360 Canet de Mar (Barcelona) (España). Contact: team@nwn.gg or our support server.

2. What they do

• nwn: activity levels and leaderboards, daily tasks, automatic and reward roles, clubs, booster colours and icons, staff-reviewed confessions, role verifications, applications, welcomes in the public channel, boost notices and information panels.
• NWN Security: moderation tools for staff: sanctions, reports, the server ban list, message clean-ups, name history and an automated profile picture review where a person always makes the decision.

3. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the bots to harass, spam or get around Discord’s or the server’s rules.
• Don’t try to game levels, tasks or rewards (for example with fake accounts or automated messages).
• Don’t send illegal content or other people’s personal data in confessions, reports or verifications.

If you break these rules, staff may remove rewards or roles, delete your content and apply the server’s sanctions. Sanctions are always decided by a staff member; you can appeal them through the link you receive with the sanction.

4. Direct messages

The bots don’t send unsolicited direct messages. They only DM you when you run /bienvenida, when a verification you requested is approved, or to notify you of a sanction.

5. Rewards and levels

Levels, roles and rewards are perks inside the server with no monetary value, and can’t be sold or exchanged for money. We may adjust them, fix mistakes or reset them if abuse is detected.

6. Availability

We try to keep the bots running at all times, but there may be outages, errors or feature changes. We may change or remove features at any time.

7. Liability

We run the bots with due care, but we are not responsible for what users post or for Discord’s decisions. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

9. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms significantly we will announce it in the NWN server. They are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you can also go to the courts where you live.
